Our 30-hour certificate as a Medical Assistant is designed to prepare professional multi-skilled individuals for employment in physician’s offices, medical clinics, laboratories, and other ambulatory health care facilities. Medical care settings are challenging, fast-paced environments. There are a lot of moving parts to consider—as well as strict regulations—to ensure a safe and efficient environment for practitioners and patients alike. As the medical care system continues to grow and evolve, the demand for capable medical services managers is rising dramatically. When you earn your Medical Administration Associate Degree, you will gain the skills to succeed in this fast-growing field. With a curriculum designed by health service experts, everything you learn has real-world relevance.

The School of Medical Sciences is proud to offer a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Public Health, a program that puts a special emphasis on urban and global health issues. Our curriculum includes elements of the life and biological sciences, social sciences, and humanities to provide students with an understanding of public health from a broad spectrum of approaches. Students will build the knowledge and skills needed to excel in a wide array of public health professions, or to continue on to graduate school in any number of medical, science, social science, or public health fields.
